Richard heads north for Make-A-Wish

A Brammer employee has completed the BUPA Great North Run to raise funds for Brammer’s chosen charity, Make-A-Wish Foundation® UK, which grants magical wishes for children fighting life-threatening illnesses.

Richard Moffett joined 54,000 other runners for the iconic half-marathon which takes place every year in Newcastle Gateshead.

The race is the premier event in the Great Run series and is firmly established as one of the world’s most popular half-marathons.

The Key Account Development Manager for Brammer said: “As a parent, the thought of having to take advantage of the fantastic support Make-A-Wish offers is unimaginable. I hope my efforts will make at least one wish come true.”

There are currently 20,000 children and young people in the UK fighting a life-threatening illness, and this year alone around 1,200 children will be referred to Make-A-Wish Foundation® UK to have their wish granted. To help all these come true, Make-A-Wish relies upon the efforts of corporate partners like Brammer UK, which has raised more than £115,000 for the charity since 2007.
